Boxer Classes

Oscar is getting bigger, he now goes to Boxer classes. He has many friends he is so friendly and sociable. I think he needs a playmate though but "Computer says No".
For some reason he likes to greet other boxers with his bottom? Maybe he is Gay? Ho do you know if a dog is Gay? Anyway, his training has been very succesful and he has completed his Kennel Club Bronze Citezens Certificate, he is proud and so am i, my baby. He gets a professional photo done but insists on showing his teeth...again.

A box too many!

Went out for a few hours. We had put a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs to stop oscar exploring our bedrooms. Charlotte accidently left the gate open......Oscar thought it was his birthday. I had put a box of Thorntons Chocolates in my room ready to take to work but i forgot them, Oscar found them and completely savoured the moment eating not only two layers of luxurious chocolates but the plastic layers in between!

I had never heard of chocolate poisening but Oscar's vet had, £560 later (had no insurance at this time) and a few days in the vets Oscar had a lucky escape.

Oscar was 6 month old when i got him. I had been without a dog for many years and finally my chance came to start again with a young wonderful dog, a mans best friend!
He barked at me when i walked through the door i was looking for the puppy, he seemed too big to be the one but i soon realised that this was it, this was oscar! If i had known then what i know now im not sure whether i would have brought him home.
Anyway after many treats and the owner convincing me what a well behaved dog he was we arranged for him to move in a few days later. Two days lasted way too long, i dreamt of picking him up but also thought of his current owners who where moving away and how they must feel leaving him behind. It went as well as it could and he arrived home to great my children with his undershot jaw and teeth hanging out!
